‘It hurts’: Gravelbourg braces for historic water tower demolition

Along with money the town put down, Gravelbourg received $3.5 million in total for water line project. The town also qualified for a grant to demolish the water tower. “It hurts,” he said.

Regina police officers taken to hospital after rear-end at traffic stop
WEBSep 6, 2024 · Two Regina Police Service (RPS) officers were taken to hospital on Friday after their police vehicle was rear-ended during a traffic stop.. RPS said in a news release on Friday that the patrol was engaged in a traffic stop near the intersection of 9th Avenue North and McCarthy Boulevard and had emergency lights activated on Sept. 6, about 5:40 a.m. when the collision happened.
Dutch elm disease found near science centre in Wascana
WEBAug 26, 2024 · Elm species make up about 13 per cent of the trees there. The infected tree was found in the Goose Hill area, east of Wascana Parkway and near the Saskatchewan Science Centre. It was removed on Aug. 20. Three confirmed cases of the disease had been previously identified in Wascana — in 2014, 2019 and 2024, the release said.
