Requiring a timed entry reservation does nothing to make visiting the park better, I think it is actually a lot worse. Had to wait an hour to enter the park even though we had a timed entry reservat… Full review by 956susanq

Is the tour still available with the closure of the road into the park? We are planning to go to Seattle in the middle of March 2020 and we are interested in this tour (gourmet and wine lunch, 235.00).
A:
Your best bet would be to check with the tour operator. They will know and should not book unless they can deliver. I was ther in late summer so not concerned.

Hello. We are heading to the Ashford side for a weekend getaway in October. Anything we absolutely must do or see? Do you recommend booking a hiking tour or should we just wing it on our own? We will have a car and are willing to drive. Than you :)

We did Glacier, Olympic, Mt Rainier, and North Cascades National Parks in one trip and spent four days in Seattle. Took us 3 1/2 weeks driving from south eastern Missouri. We spent 2-3 days at each park. Time spent really depends on how much hiking you’re planning to do at each location. We didn’t do much but if you’re a hiker, you may need more time at each. As a result of our schedule we were on the move every few days and it got old. If we do National Parks again, we’ll try to find a home base to minimize the packing and unpacking. Good luck!
