SEATTLE — There’s a place Darius Slayton makes his mind go when adversity hits.

Four games into his NFL career, New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers led the league with 35 receptions, good for 386 yards and three touchdowns. But a concussion caused him to miss Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Darius Slayton to the rescue. “We moved Slayton over where Nabers was a bunch, and he was on the other side usually,” head coach Brian Daboll said after Giants 29, Seahawks 20. “He’s very dependable, and he’s smart. He’s a great teammate. He’s always done whatever we’ve asked of him.”
