Back in September, Google announced that the Google TV Streamer’s new Home Panel function would be rolling out to all Chromecast with Google TV devices. That rollout has taken a while, but at last, there’s proof that it’s hitting devices.

The Home Panel that debuted on the Google TV Streamer is next coming to the Chromecast with Google TV if you join the Public Preview program.

As part of the Google Home Public Preview program, the Home hub is rolling out now to Chromecast with Google TV (HD and 4K). To join the program, head to the Google Home app on your Android smartphone, navigate to Settings on the bottom right, tap Public Preview and join.

You can now get AI-generated ambient art and the Google Home Panel on Chromecast with Google TV — but you have to opt in to the Public Preview first.
