The armed man was shot by police after repeated contact with two officers who told him to drop the weapon, Aurora Police Chief Todd Chamberlain said on Thursday afternoon. Chamberlain said the armed man appeared to be starting arguments in the area. An assault-style weapon was recovered at the scene.
