BASSETT, Va. (AP) — BASSETT, Va. (AP) — Bassett Furniture Industries Inc. (BSET) on Wednesday reported a loss of $4.5 million in its fiscal third quarter. The Bassett, Virginia-based company said it had a loss of 52 cents per share. The furniture seller posted revenue of $75.6 million in the period.

The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.26 per share. The electrical equipment maker posted revenue of $409 million in the period, missing Street forecasts.

The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.08 per share.

AZZ (AZZ) came out with quarterly earnings of $1.37 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.26 per share. This compares to earnings of $1.27 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.
