Real Madrid right back Dani Carvajal will undergo surgery after rupturing two ligaments and a tendon in his right leg, the LaLiga club said after the Spaniard was taken off on a stretcher during Saturday's 2-0 home win over Villarreal.

Juventus defender Gleison Bremer is set for an extended spell on the sidelines after injuring the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. The 27-year-old sustained the problem during his side’s 3-2 victory over RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday.
