Google Workspace is adding a new feature to voice messages in Google Chat. The app will be rolling out automatic transcription. This feature comes less than a year after voice messages were added to Google Chat.
Google Chat adds Video Messages and Transcription for voice notes
In March, Google Chat introduced voice messages, and the latest update adds a “View transcript” button. This allows users with a paid Google Workspace or Workspace Individual subscription to send voice messages on mobile and web and view automatic transcriptions by tapping the “view transcript” option.
