Big Lots is closing another three MD stores, a report said. Nearly 500 locations have shuttered amid the company's bankruptcy and sale.

Last month in bankruptcy filings, Big Lots said it would close almost 50 more stores, bringing its total planned store closures to more than 340.

The discount retailer has added more locations to its closure list since filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this month.
