A new promo from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame confirms that a number of musicians will be on-site at the live induction ceremony on October 19 th to celebrate Osbourne’s storied career as a solo artist (he’d already been inducted into the Hall in 2006 as part of Black Sabbath).

Downtown Cleveland is ready to welcome a slew of legendary musicians and waves of fans as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony returns to the city this fall.

The Black Sabbath vocalist has told Rolling Stone that he’ll be inducted into the Rock Hall at the ceremony on October 19 by actor and musician Jack Black. Furthermore, Billy Idol, Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan and country star Jelly Roll will sing in a star-studded tribute band to the metal legend.

Performers include Tool's Maynard James Keenan, Zakk Wylde, Metallica's Robert Trujillo, Wolfgang Van Halen, the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith, and many others

Many of the contributors have previously performed and recorded with or served in the backing bands of the 75-year-old Osbourne. Watt produced the artist’s most recent studio albums, Ordinary Man and Patient Number 9, which featured Wylde, Smith and Trujillo. Other participants such as Jelly Roll have long named him as a key influence.
